Yumi has a strong interest in mental health and wants to pursue a career helping people navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Yumi is a senior at Occidental College studying Psychology and Japanese. She is interested in pursuing a career in counseling in order to help people navigate through anxiety, depression, and trauma.
She loves to do yoga, dance, meditate, and draw. Her hope is to form inclusive communities that incorporate these creative outlets.
At the practice, she helps with the intake team, schedules initial appointments, collects documentation, verifies insurance, and submits insurance claims.
