She strives to create a safe place to better understand why you do what you do or why you feel the way you feel. She also enjoys supervising graduate students and other clinicians in the field.
Background
Lapde was born and raised in southern Illinois near St. Louis. She moved to Philadelphia after college where she worked and completed graduate school. Then, she relocated to Connecticut, started the practice, and now resides in Fairfield with her husband and three kids.
Her parents are from Hong Kong, where she tries to visit when possible. Lapde is pronounced “lap-dee” and means virtuous. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, going to the beach, doing artwork, and trying new restaurants.
