Insurance

In-Network Insurances

We accept several major insurances. Some of us are In-Network with Anthem, BlueCross BlueShield, CIGNA, Husky, United Healthcare, and a few other providers. To utilize your insurance benefits, our office will need to contact your insurance company to find out what your behavioral health benefits are. Insurance companies offer different coverage based on your particular plan. We are happy to contact your insurance provider to determine your benefits if you provide us with your insurance information. You can do so by filling out the Insurance Verification Form.

Out-of-Network Insurances

For many other insurances, we are considered as an Out-of-Network provider. Again, our office will need to contact your insurance company to find out what your Out-of-Network benefits are. Many clients are able to get reimbursed for the majority of the fees. After your sessions, we will submit all the claims to your insurance company as an Out-of-Network provider on your behalf so you do not have to deal with any of the paperwork – we will take care of everything. When the reimbursement check comes, it will go straight to you. We are happy to contact your insurance provider to determine your Out-of-Network benefits if you provide us with your insurance information. You can do so by filling out the Insurance Verification Form.

Health Savings Account

A health savings account (HSA) or flexible savings account (FSA) is money that you put aside for healthcare reasons that is not taxed. You can use your HSA or FSA card for qualified medical expenses including deductibles and co-insurances. We accept all HSA/FSA cards.

If you prefer to not use your insurance, that is okay. Some people do not want to use their insurance benefits for various reasons. Insurance providers dictate length and frequency of treatment, which can limit a client’s progress. They put stipulations on therapeutic modalities, techniques, and diagnoses that then restrict the work that can be done between the therapist and client. Also, using insurance creates a behavioral health record or paper trail and leads to less privacy. If you choose to not use your insurance, you can pay us directly for our services and bypass all insurance paperwork.
