Preparing for a wedding can bring unique stressors, and sometimes people find themselves re-evaluating their relationship. We have been working with couples for over 10 years. Premarital Counseling
If your officiant or venue requires premarital counseling or you simply want to be prepared before getting hitched, we will meet with you and your partner to help you complete this process. Premarital counseling involves first meeting, getting to know each other, and learning about the relationship as it currently stands. Premarital counseling usually lasts around 6-8 sessions, depending on the needs of the couple. Each session lasts an hour and focuses on various topics such as communication, finances, family relationships, children, gender roles, and spiritual beliefs.
Prepare-Enrich Assessment
At the beginning of premarital or marriage counseling, we ask each partner to complete an assessment called Prepare-Enrich. This is an assessment used worldwide that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas. It costs $30, takes about 30 minutes to complete, and is done completely online. This is considered the #1 relationship inventory and couples assessment tool.
