Lapde works at Fairfield University as an adjunct professor teaching a graduate level counseling skills and relationships course. She is also on the department’s advisory board to help grow, shape, and improve the program.

She has worked as a clinician in an outpatient dual diagnosis treatment facility in Norwalk and Stamford, Connecticut. She ran an adolescent intensive outpatient program, led weekly family education groups and workshops, women’s anger management group, and men’s intensive outpatient group.

Background

Lapde was born and raised in southern Illinois near St. Louis. She moved to Philadelphia after college and now resides in Fairfield, Connecticut. Her parents are from Hong Kong, where she tries to visits when possible. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, doing artwork, playing/teaching violin, watching movies, and going to the beach.
