Shayna Green, LPCA

Shayna believes effective counseling has the power to unlock greater self-awareness and understanding and lead to lasting improvements in relationships, in work, in well-being, and in life satisfaction.

Shayna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University. She works under the supervision of Lapde So, LPC.

For Shayna, counseling is rooted in the collaboration and connection between client and therapist. Her style is non-judgmental and custom fit: as each client’s challenges are unique so is the approach to understanding and identifying their goals and tapping into their motivation to change, their resilience, and their strengths.

Shayna graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in media communications. She started her career in New York’s top advertising agencies and has spent the last fifteen years as a relationship management consultant to agency leadership teams, providing them with trusted guidance and support.

Her professional areas of interest include the psychology of interpersonal relationships, support through times of transition, the challenges of early adulthood and identity development, career optimization and balance, parenting, marriage, and family.

Shayna keeps busy with her own family – her husband, her two soccer-crazed teenaged boys, and an orange tabby cat named Cheeto. She fits in yoga, reading, beach walks, and time with friends whenever and as often as she can.

Shayna sees clients both in person and virtually. She accepts Husky insurance and sets fees on a sliding scale.
