Lisa strives to foster growth and resilience in her clients, helping them navigate life, school, and career transitions as well as to challenge negative thought patterns to leverage their individual strengths.
Lisa is a graduate student at Northwestern University pursing a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a License in Professional Counseling. Her primary interest areas lie in late adolescence/emerging adulthood, anxiety, trauma and mental health during perimenopause. She strives to foster growth and resilience in her clients, helping them navigate life, school, and career transitions as well as to challenge negative thought patterns to leverage their individual strengths.

A career-changer, prior to her coursework in counseling, Lisa worked in nonprofit management, development, and healthcare policy for over two decades. She serves on several nonprofit boards and enjoys skiing, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with friends and family cooking and making each other laugh.
She is a certified yoga instructor and teaches yoga classes for both adults and children. She has an undergraduate degree (B.S.) in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from New York University and served as Peace Corp volunteer from 1997-1999.
Lisa is also our intake coordinator. She is responsible for scheduling new clients and conducting intake assessments. In addition to intakes, she sees individuals for therapy both in person and virtually. She accepts most major insurances and has evening and weekend availability.
